On Saturday, I woke up at the ungodly hour of 5:15 to get to Koreatown in Manhattan so I could grab a table and be ready to cheer on South Korea at 7:30 a.m. And it was worth it!!!!!!

My gamja-tang, a peppery pork neck and potato stew, at Kunjip was delicious. But next time, I won’t eat something so spicy while watching something so nerve-wracking. It was a little hard on my stomach.
